PPWR Declaration Assistant

The problem: a PPWR declaration is not a formality
The PPWR regulation (EU 2025/40) applies in full from August 12, 2026. Any company placing packaging on the European market — regardless of its size — must be able to produce, at any time, a declaration of conformity per packaging reference: composition, recyclability, void ratio, restricted substances (PFAS banned from August 12, 2026, BPA from July 20, 2026).
Without this file, the block is immediate: market withdrawal, product recall, national sanctions. The volume of data to maintain (specifications by SKU, supplier attestations, recycled content, lab testing) does not fit in a spreadsheet — and cannot be delegated to a generic tool that does not know your internal referential.
The dedicated assistant we deploy tackles this volume: packaging data collection from suppliers, verification against current PPWR requirements, timestamped audit trail, and systematic human review by your Quality Manager before any publication.
● IN scope
- ✓Audit of packaging specifications (materials, mass, volume, void ratio ≤ 40%).
- ✓Verification of restricted substances (PFAS from 08/12/2026, BPA from 07/20/2026).
- ✓Build and maintain the EU register per packaging reference.
- ✓Generation of the declaration of conformity and the timestamped audit trail.
● OUT of scope
- ✕Packaging design and material selection — handled by your packaging team.
- ✕Trademark filing, IP, customs litigation.
- ✕Setting the company's packaging policy — decision of the COO / industrial leadership.
Named human reviewer
Every attestation published and every blocked item is reviewed by:
- Your Quality Manager — validates packaging conformity and signs the reference declarations.
- Damien Godard, founder of Taranis AI — validates structural decisions (cross-functional scope, tooling choice, missing data tradeoffs).
Review channel: weekly asynchronous review (email + traced comments) — no ephemeral Slack, no undocumented verbal decisions.
